The sending of unsolicited commercial electronic messages in bulk is covered under the Spam Control Act, and is not regulated by the PDPC.

If you are receiving unsolicited emails, consider taking the following steps:

• Check that you have unsubscribed from the emails. 
• Unsubscribe using the link provided in the emails or contact the organisation directly. Please allow some time for them to handle your withdrawal request. 
• Mark the email as spam as an interim measure. You may use a spam filter to reduce the number of spam messages or emails.

If you are receiving telemarketing messages in the form of voice calls, text or fax, and your contact number is registered with the Do Not Call (DNC) Registry, please lodge a DNC complaint.
