Legal Disputes, Court/Tribunal cases or Mediation

The PDPC recognises that personal data protection concerns may arise as part of the issues (among others) in private disputes between an individual and an organisation.

However, the PDPC will not be able to assist you if the matter of concern is an ongoing legal dispute before the courts, or if you have received a letter of demand from a law firm. There are long-established channels for addressing legal disputes, and the PDPA was not intended to displace them.
