The advisory guidelines for the education, healthcare and social service sectors, as well as photography are available from today. These guidelines aim to provide clarity to organisations on how to comply with the PDPA in sector-specific scenarios. 

The advisory guidelines had been developed together with the respective sectoral regulators, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social and Family Development and the National Council of Social Services, and incorporated public comments received during a three week consultation from May to June 2014.

The PDPC has also revised the Advisory Guidelines for Selected Topics on the PDPA to include examples on Photography, and published A Guide to Notifications to help organisations better position their notification messages.
