Management Corporations

Management Corporations (MC) are formed under the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BMSMA) to administer a strata title estate, and the MC’s rights and obligations are not affected by the Data Protection Provisions of the PDPA.

These include the rights and authority to decide what level of access the members of its managing council should have to information in its records, in the course of discharging the obligation of administering the strata title estate.

For concerns relating to strata title estate administration, consider taking the following steps:

a) raise your concerns at the general meeting of the management corporation; and
b) if the concerns remain unresolved, raise it with the Strata Titles Board
