A financial penalty of $8,750 was imposed and directions were issued to SESAMi (Singapore) Pte Ltd for failing to put in place reasonable security arrangements to protect the personal data in its possession or under its control. PDPC also issued directions to SESAMi (Singapore) Pte Ltd's subsidiary, Abecha Pte Ltd, for similar reasons.
