Singapore Telecommunications Limited was found not in breach of the PDPA in relation to an incident which occurred on or about 13 July 2020 where a threat actor accessed the accounts belonging to 17 subscribers.

The PDPC accepted an undertaking from an organisation which implemented remediation plans that rectified the immediate breach and addressed systemic shortcomings to ensure continual compliance with the PDPA.
